Dr. Andrew L. DeGruccio

Andrew DeGruccio is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon practicing with Orthopaedic Associates, P.S.C., since 1997. He
is a graduate of the University of Southern California Medical School and did his orthopaedic training at the University of
Louisville. He earned his undergraduate degrees in Kinesiology and Psychobiology from UCLA. He has been active in Louisville
soccer for years and has played on a USTA tennis team. He has also become a white water kayaker, and is a member of the Louisville-based
Viking Canoe and Kayak Club. His active participation in sports combined with his educational background have made sports
medicine a special interest in his orthopaedic practice. He is the team physician for a local area high school football team.
With an appointment as a Clinical Instructor in the University of Louisville, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, and as a
guest lecturer for the Bellarmine University, Department of Physical Therapy, combined with being the Medical Director for
the Kentucky Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Team--Preston, Downtown, and Springhurst, he places special emphasis on educating
his patients, as well as overseeing their comprehensive orthopaedic care.
